There are important attributes that every group has so that they can take decent care of themselves and their fellow Helfa. For example, each group should have at least one moderator who gets to know people and adds them to the groups. Also, the size of the group has an impact on how the group holds together, what it can do, etc.

To help us see what attributes a group already has, we defined 5 attributes:
- Has the group elected moderators? Yes/No
- Are there more than 20 members in the group? Yes/No
- Does the group have more than 10 local topic groups? Yes/No
- Does the group also support neighboring local groups? Yes/No
- Does the group have more than 5 professional groups represented? Yes/No

By using these criteria, we no longer need a classification, because this allows us to filter on the map by exactly these characteristics and get a very good picture of whether and how we can help. In addition, members can directly see if there are also somewhat "weaker" groups in their area, where they can then help to build.

If a group has no moderator, it is not a real group in the sense of Helfa, because it does not fulfill the 3rd rule. Nevertheless, we can keep the groups - they then act like a "container" that can collect future members and then turn them into a real group when they are ready.

If there are more than 20 people in a group but there is no moderator there, the orga should assign someone to offer a semi to the people in the group. An individual welcome note can indicate that the group is in the process of being formed and that they could use some help.

A small group that already has a facilitator just needs to grow and build trust within the group. This may or may not happen quickly. If necessary, the Helfa orga can help if something is not working properly.
The group as such generally does not need help, because it is supposed to run independently. The moderators can exchange ideas with other moderators and support each other.

If all questions are answered positively, the group works very well and the people there have everything under control.

The groups can set the checkboxes themselves and are only corrected by the Helfa-Orga if something really went wrong. Otherwise, it is relatively easy to see what status a group is currently in.
